I'm the kinda of guy that likes his sweets. I have a sweet tooth that constantly needs feeding. So I was happy to find a new range of sweets the other day. Roadkill gummy sweets. They look a little bit like our characters Twitch and Grind et al, but they're a lot smaller... and edible. 

I thought I'd get a bigger bite of the cherry on Dragons Den. Still I suppose I got 90 seconds of fame, rather than 15. A bit more than Jade Goody. The Dragons thought the roadkill teddies were too edgy for them. They thought they'd upset people. They still wanted to take one home with them though. The cheeky blighters. Anyway, it wasn't as scary as I'd thought. Standing in front of those Dragons I had a moment of clarity. All my fears dropped away... especially when I saw Theo Paphitis' comb over. And I managed to weather Peter Jones' protracted joke, about me being a geeky manchild, still living at home with his parents, tucked under his Thomas the Tank Engine duvet.

Last night I appeared on Dragon's Den. Watching Theo Paphitis and his cronies curl their lips and furrow their brows at my cute cuddly toys, I suddenly got the idea for a Roadkill Dragon. Maybe they would have parted with their ill-gotten cash for that. That said, it was all play-acting. The Dragons actually really liked the product. Each of them asked to take one home with them after the show. I even made out personalised toe tags for them. One was run over by Theo Paphitis's Lear Jet, another was squished by Peter Jones' limo.

Eat that Delia Smith! Here at Roadkill we're compiling a cookbook. But it's not your usual cookbook, it's a Roadkill Cookbook. And instead of Beef Bourguignon and Duck a l'orange, we've got Squirrel Souffle, Badger Casserole, and Vole Compote. And we'd like to expand our repertoire. If you have any good ideas on  how to flambe a fox or garnish a stoat, please send them in. Bon apetit!

Dearly departed Splodge popped his clogs yesterday at 10.12AM. Splodge will soon be joining Twitch and Grind, not in the great Pet Cementary in the Sky as he'd hoped, but here in the Roadkill Toys shop. A much better fate! We saw a prototype of Splodge yesterday, and we are pleased to say we are very happy with the spikey fella. In fact he could soon be replacing Grind and Twitch as the cutest dead mangled thing ever.
